After completing his degree at the University of Western Ontario, Eric began his career as an appraiser in 2009, working alongside his father at Appraisals North Realty Inc. in Sudbury, Ontario. He would obtain his CRA designation in 2011 while continuing to work towards his AACI, which he obtained in 2017. He would become a partner at Appraisals North in 2018, continuing to work across the Northern Ontario region, servicing all types of properties but focusing primarily on commercial and industrial.
From the onset of his career, Eric has been heavily involved in volunteering with the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC). He has been a member of numerous committees, the local chapter executive and is a long time member of the board of directors for the Ontario Association of the AIC (AIC-ON). Eric is presently serving as the president of the AIC-ON and in 2023 was awarded the Tyler Beatty Award from the AIC, which is granted to the top appraiser nationwide under the age of 40.
Throughout his career, Eric has strived to provide his clients with accurate, thorough appraisal reports and has become a respected voice in the Northern Ontario real estate market.
