Justice Jenny Restoule-Mallozzi was appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice in 2021. She is an Anishinabek citizen of Dokis First Nation and is from the Muskrat Clan. Prior to being appointed to the bench, Justice Restoule-Mallozzi worked exclusively with First Nations and Indigenous organizations on implementing Indigenous laws, combatting human trafficking, upholding Aboriginal and treaty rights, and taught nationally on advancing First Nations land management regimes. As a Member of the Debwewin Jury Review Implementation Committee and a Director of Halton Community Legal Services, she worked to promote access to justice and reconciliation within the justice sector. Prior to her judicial appointment, Justice Restoule-Mallozzi served as a Member of the Ontario Parole Board and the Ontario Civilian Police Commission.
