James M. Ross

James M. Ross was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. He attended Western University graduating with his law degree in 2009.

A true northerner, he always dreamed of coming back to the North after he finished his studies and he did so, putting down roots in Sudbury.

He is a past president of the Sudbury and District Law Association, currently sits on the Sudbury and District Law Association’s Library Committee, and is a member of the Advocates Society and the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association.

As the son of an NICU nurse, assisting the vulnerable has always been a passion of his and through his practice at Orendorff & Associates, he has since 2013 been able to assist clients injured by the neglect of another. He has helped his clients with navigating a complex and difficult legal system and aiding them in dealing with an unexpected and traumatic life event. When he is not helping those who are in need in the community, James delights in having all the answers as the host of the Sudbury and District Law Association’s trivia night.
