Alicia Webber

Alicia Webber has dedicated her life and career to building community and service to others. She has been working with the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario in Sudbury for nine years. Alicia was the Manager of Health and Fitness before moving to Immigrant Services as Volunteer Coordinator. In her current role, Alicia recruits volunteers from the community to facilitate programs, services and activities for newcomer clients. Additionally, she assists newcomer clients to secure volunteer opportunities in the community. Alicia has been a volunteer herself with many agencies and different roles since the age of 16. Alicia aligns her work and her life with the YMCA’s Core Values of respect, caring, inclusive, honesty, responsibility and collaborative. Aligning with these values allows Alicia to live out the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s Charitable Purpose of being dedicated to the growth of all persons in spirit, mind and body with a sense of responsibility to each other and the global community. She is a firm believer in the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s Vision that My Y is a place to belong, achieve my potential and strengthen my community. In her personal life, Alicia can often be found in the kitchen cooking and baking for her husband and two sons or entertaining extended family and friends. She is also an avid traveler, reader and fitness enthusiast.
